The annual Official Federal Recreation Lands photo contest is officially under way! Amateur photographs are encouraged to submit up to three photographs through December 31, 2009 for the chance to win a host of prizes, including Olympus digital cameras, trips to a federal recreation area, and Federal Recreation Lands Passes.
The winning photo of the Federal Recreation Lands Pass Category will adorn the 2011 Federal Recreation Lands Pass and the winning photo of the America at Its Best Category will be featured in an issue of Parks magazine.
The Share the Experience Photo Contest is an annual photography competition encouraging amateur shutterbugs to explore our nations federal lands and share the experience with all Americans by submitting their favorite lands photos. […] Sponsored by Olympus Imaging America Inc. and the National Park Foundation in partnership with the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service, the Share the Experience Photo Contest showcases the more than 500 million acres of Federal Lands and draws entries from all across the United States.
